Hi, I’m Meta! I am a Colorado native but love to call India my second home. Travel and adventure are my passions outside of work. I have always marched to the beat of my own drum so the freedom that this career affords me is such a blessing. I am a third generation hair stylist so you could say it’s in my blood. I have worked in and around the Boulder area for over 20 years, but I draw inspiration from all over the world. I am an artist first and foremost and see hair as one of my many mediums for that creative outlet. This industry is always changing and shifting so continuing my education is very important for both myself and my clients. Even in my spare time I will geek out on educational videos and online classes. I have always had a passion for learning and I am currently studying Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine with the hopes of incorporating that into my hair business one day. I believe in a holistic approach to hair and body care and can’t wait to meld my many worlds together. I strive to create a safe haven and comfortable space for every person that sits in my chair. I provide gender neutral services in a trendy yet relaxed studio space. If you're looking for an edgy new haircut or a more lived in look I'm your girl. My specialty is shorter haircuts such as pixies and stacked bobs and I'm loving the new shag/mullet trend. I especially enjoy working with highly textured and curly hair. I also specialize in natural looking dimensional color and red formulation, but continue to learn new techniques and trends. In my salon I try my best to use natural and organic products when I can. Producing fewer toxins and less waste is my goal while also incorporating a holistic approach to hair and body. If it’s a cup of tea you're needing, an ear to listen, or even just some peace and quiet I hope that you will find that in my cozy little studio. A non refundable fee will be charged to any no show or late cancellation. 50% of the original service price will be charged automatically.
